Family Law Trial Attorney

Job Overview:
A boutique family law firm based in Frisco, TX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Law Trial Attorney to join its team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong litigation skills and a passion for client advocacy. The position involves managing cases independently from start to finish, including trial work, and offers an opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive legal environment without the administrative burden of managing a solo practice.

Location:

• Frisco, TX

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody disputes, child support issues, modifications, and enforcements

• Manage all aspects of cases from intake through trial and post-judgment matters

• Appear at hearings, mediations, and court proceedings as necessary

• Provide empathetic, strategic guidance to clients throughout the legal process

• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure a high level of service

• Contribute to the team environment and assist colleagues as needed

• Work towards board certification in family law if not already certified

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law litigation

• Proven courtroom and trial experience in family law cases

• Ability to manage a full caseload independently

• Willingness to work extended hours when required

• Enthusiastic about contributing to a collaborative legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

• Board Certification in Family Law (preferred) or willingness to pursue certification
