A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated General Liability Defense Litigation Attorney to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in defense work. Duties

• Represent clients in general liability defense cases, including bodily injury, automobile accidents, premises liability, trucking, transportation, construction, and medical malpractice.
• Manage cases from pre-suit through trial, with the potential to work alongside senior attorneys for guidance.
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary to represent clients.
• Collaborate with clients and expert witnesses to gather information and strengthen cases.
• Maintain and manage a caseload while ensuring all deadlines are met and cases are progressing efficiently.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on general liability defense.
• Strong knowledge of bodily injury defense work, including auto accidents, premises liability, construction, trucking, and medical malpractice.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cases from pre-suit to trial.
