A law firm in Jacksonville is seeking a talented Corporate Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactional experience. The ideal candidate must possess strong drafting and organizational skills, excellent academic credentials, Am Law 100 law firm experience, a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school, and State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

 

Duties:

  • Participate in the execution of private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to corporate transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence in support of corporate transactions.
  • Interface with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure legal work complies with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research on matters related to corporate law and transactions.

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactional experience.
  • Have prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm setting.

 

Education:

Hold a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

 

Bar Admission:

Possess State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

 

Skills:

  • Possess strong drafting skills essential for corporate legal work.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage complex transactions effectively.
  • Maintain excellent academic credentials.
