A law firm in Stamford, CT is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney with a focus on commercial transactional real estate. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience, including expertise in leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, sale leasebacks, and real estate due diligence, particularly in connection with M&A transactions.

Duties:

  • Negotiate and draft agreements for commercial real estate transactions, including leases, purchase agreements, and sale leaseback arrangements.
  • Conduct real estate due diligence, including title review, zoning issues, and environmental assessments.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on complex real estate matters.
  • Assist with the structuring and financing of real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure timely and effective transactional closings.
  • Manage and oversee junior associates and paralegals on real estate projects.
  • Handle any related regulatory and compliance issues.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in commercial transactional real estate law.
  • Proven track record in handling leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, sale leasebacks, and real estate due diligence.
  • Strong understanding of M&A transactions and their real estate components.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Connecticut (required).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
