A well-established intellectual property law firm in Henderson, Nevada is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney. This position primarily involves patent, trademark, and copyright litigation matters, mostly in federal court. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates eager to build or expand their experience in federal district court litigation. Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background, with a preference for individuals licensed to practice in Nevada, though state bar admission is not mandatory.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist with case management and litigation preparation.
• Review and analyze evidence, legal filings, and documents related to cases.
• Participate in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys to strategize and develop case arguments.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized case files and documentation.
• Represent clients in trials when necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one state.
• Familiarity with patent, trademark, and copyright laws is highly preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience
• Previous litigation experience is required.
• Trial experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Education:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in at least one state.
• Nevada State Bar admission is preferred.
