Duties:

• Provide clients with informed and personalized legal counsel on immigration issues.
• Supervise paralegals and manage an independent caseload.
• Attend court hearings and USCIS interviews as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and policies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and empathy.
• Collaborate closely with a team of paralegals and administrative assistants to ensure smooth case management.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience specializing in immigration law, particularly family-based immigration, humanitarian cases, and/or removal defense.
• Active license to practice law in the United States.
• Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey or New York.
• Passion for immigration law and commitment to advocating for the rights of clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Experience supervising paralegal staff.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in good standing in New Jersey or New York.

Certifications:
