The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Corporate Business Transactions and Commercial Real Estate, with a strong background in business development. This role involves client meetings, contract negotiation, and drafting, as well as providing support to partners and engaging in marketing efforts to acquire new clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to provide legal advice and discuss business transactions.
  • Communicate with adversaries and negotiate various types of business contracts.
  • Draft and review business agreements, commercial real estate leases, and financing documents.
  • Conduct closings and manage related documentation.
  • Provide support to partners on their matters, collaborating within a team environment.
  • Spend time marketing and networking to attract and secure new clients.
  • Review and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms for clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Business Transactions and Commercial Real Estate.

  • Proven track record of participating in business development efforts.
  • Portable business and a business background are preferred.
