PI Associate Attorney

A well-established personal injury law firm located in Pikesville, MD, is seeking a qualified and motivated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience in trial work and legal writing to contribute to a dynamic practice. The role involves providing legal assistance in personal injury cases, including conducting legal research, drafting documents, and representing clients. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys to ensure successful case resolutions.

Location:

• Pikesville, MD

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research on personal injury laws, regulations, and precedents
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Assist with case management and preparation for trials and hearings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process
• Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions on behalf of clients
• Represent clients in court proceedings and ensure effective representation
• Maintain accurate and organized case files
• Stay updated on changes in personal injury laws and industry trends

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trial work and legal writing
• Must be a member of the Maryland Bar in good standing
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior attorneys and partners

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited law school

• Active membership in the Maryland Bar (Required)
