Job Overview:
The litigation attorney will be responsible for managing personal injury cases from start to finish. The position involves a dynamic workload, including pre-trial conferences, depositions, and various court-related activities. The attorney will work independently while having access to resources and support from a legal assistant. Candidates must have excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure the efficient resolution of cases and maximize client outcomes.

Duties:

• Manage a high volume of personal injury cases.
• Handle pre-trial conferences, depositions, and court appearances.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in hearings and trials.
• Oversee case progression to ensure timely resolutions.
• Supervise and collaborate with a legal assistant while also performing administrative tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

• Valid Bar Certification.
• Proven experience in litigation.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing case files and handling court proceedings.
• Superior organizational and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Bar in the state of Georgia.
