Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is looking for an experienced Senior Leasing Attorney to join its Real Estate Group. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of expertise in handling commercial leases and related agreements. This role requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to foster client relationships and an understanding of the commercial leasing market.

Duties:

• Serve as the lead attorney for drafting and negotiating commercial leases, term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, and SNDAs.
• Oversee and mentor junior leasing attorneys.
• Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other relevant parties.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various stakeholders.
• Produce timely and high-quality deliverables, addressing phone calls and correspondence efficiently.
• Meet deadlines and fulfill work obligations consistently.
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Adhere to firm policies and practices.
• Participate in both sedentary and physical activities, including extended computer work and meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Admitted to practice law in California.
• 8 years of experience in commercial lease negotiations and related agreements.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in California.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of the commercial leasing market, including current trends and lease-related issues.
• Experience with diverse property types, including office, retail, industrial, and life sciences.
• Proven track record of representing landlords effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and writing capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and exercise sound business judgment.
