Trial Attorney

Job Overview:
A leading law firm in Denver, specializing in consumer protection and personal injury law, is seeking a motivated Trial Attorney to join their team. Location:

Duties:

• Draft pleadings including complaints, motions, and oppositions
• Draft and review discovery documents, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions
• Argue motion and opposition hearings both remotely and in court
• Take and defend percipient and expert depositions
• Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials
• Actively participate in trial preparation and execution
• Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence and building case files
• Draft mediation briefs and attend mediation sessions, participating in settlement negotiations
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the litigation process
• Assist in managing litigation assistants and paralegals
• Attend regular professional development training sessions

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the Colorado Bar (or eligibility for admission)
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Highly motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to team success
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Resourceful, persistent, and solution-oriented
• Civil litigation or personal injury experience is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Colorado Bar (or eligibility for admission)
