A law firm in Coral Gables is seeking an Estate Planning and Probate Associate Attorney with a robust background in estate planning, probate litigation, and guardianship administration. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work directly under the mentorship of a Partner renowned for expertise in this practice area. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload involving estate planning strategies, probate administration and litigation, and guardianship cases, requiring deep knowledge of Florida guardianship and probate laws.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement effective estate planning strategies, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Manage all aspects of probate administration and litigation, ensuring compliance with Florida laws and court procedures.
  • Handle guardianship cases from inception through resolution, providing guidance and support to guardians and families.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and goals, offering tailored advice and services.
  • Conduct regular client consultations, maintaining clear communication and updates on case progress.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base and presence in estate planning and probate.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate litigation, and guardianship administration.
  • Strong litigation skills and comprehensive knowledge of Florida probate and guardianship law.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Multilingual abilities preferred to accommodate a diverse client base.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
