Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Litigation Department in the Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience, with a preference for those with knowledge in insurance coverage, bad faith, or insurance defense. Location:

• Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

• Prepare pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, and motions

• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda

• Represent clients in court appearances and depositions (preferred but not required)

• Analyze and develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

• Manage case files and maintain client communications

• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality legal representation

Requirements:

• Strong verbal communication and legal writing skills

• Excellent judgment and analytical abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree

• Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania with an active bar license in good standing

Skills:

• Experience handling litigation matters, including pleadings and discovery

• Knowledge of insurance coverage, bad faith, and insurance defense (preferred but not required)

• Strong research and legal analysis capabilities

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented legal setting
