Associate Attorney needed for St. Louis office

Job Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Practice. The Associate Attorney will work alongside an experienced litigator on complex and serious personal injury cases. This full-time, in-office position is based at the firm’s St. Louis, MO office. 

Location

Duties

• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft discovery requests, pleadings, and motions.
• Monitor and manage case progress.
• Prepare for and participate in jury trials.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Make court appearances as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience handling personal injury cases.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Courtroom motion practice experience (preferred).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Illinois and Missouri required.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and courtroom presentations.
• Experience with court motions and depositions preferred.
