A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a passionate and bilingual Immigration Associate Attorney with a strong academic record and preferably immigration experience or coursework. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to helping immigrants and possess a Bar license in any U.S. state or have passed the Bar.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal assistance and representation to clients on a variety of immigration matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including petitions, applications, and briefs
  • Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including interviews, hearings, and appeals
  • Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other parties involved in immigration cases
  • Stay current with developments in immigration law and policy
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex immigration cases
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
  • Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance immigration law knowledge

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Bar license in any U.S. state or passed the Bar
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and another language, preferably Spanish)
  • Strong academic record
  • Immigration experience or coursework preferred
  • Legal journal, moot court, or mock trial team participation preferred
  • Active interest in U.S. immigration law and a demonstrated passion for helping immigrants
