Duties:

• Manage a variety of defense litigation cases for businesses, insurers, and government entities.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Prepare and argue motions in both state and federal courts.
• Represent clients during hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality legal representation.
• Maintain client communications and ensure case deadlines are met.
• Develop strategies for case management and provide recommendations to clients.
• Participate in settlement negotiations when necessary.

Requirements:

• Active and valid bar license in the state of Texas.
• 3+ years of litigation experience is preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple case assignments and manage a demanding workload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (required).
