Duties

• Handle a mix of insurance coverage opinion work and insurance defense litigation

• Draft insurance coverage opinions for liability and property insurers with varying degrees of complexity

• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance policies and coverage issues

• Represent clients in coverage disputes and litigation matters

• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on coverage-related issues

• Collaborate with legal teams and stakeholders to develop case strategies

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling insurance coverage matters

• Strong background in drafting insurance coverage opinions

• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (additional state licensure is a plus)
