Duties:

  • Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including court appearances, negotiations with prosecutors, and preliminary hearings.

  • Advise clients on their legal rights and options, and guide them in making informed decisions.
  • Maintain organized digital files to ensure efficient team-based legal service delivery.
  • Follow internal firm guidelines and standards to consistently provide excellent service to clients.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of systems, processes, and checklists within the firm.
  • Handle a full caseload with minimal supervision, working collaboratively with a supportive team.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (please include your B.P.R. Number on your resume).
  • 2-5 years of experience in criminal law, either in defense or prosecution.
  • Strong commitment to defending clients' rights and dignity.
  • Willingness to travel throughout West Tennessee as needed.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Tennessee.
