Duties:

• Manage a portfolio of Workers' Compensation defense cases from inception to resolution

• Collaborate with senior legal counsel on litigation strategy and case development

• Examine and interpret medical documentation relevant to legal matters

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal filings with precision and clarity

• Maintain professional client communications and provide status updates

• Navigate a remote work environment with efficiency and autonomy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation or insurance defense

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a virtual workspace

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in interpreting medical records within the context of legal claims

• Familiarity with electronic case management systems and remote legal proceedings

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
