Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced and motivated Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will handle their own caseload, collaborate closely with a seasoned Partner to develop and implement litigation strategies, and deliver outstanding client service. Strong writing skills and experience in reviewing medical records are highly preferred. This role requires a strong work ethic, independent working skills, and ideally some experience with virtual work or schooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims from start to finish.
• Work closely with an experienced Partner to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
• Review, analyze, and interpret medical records and other relevant documents to support case development.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, with accuracy.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
• Stay up-to-date on Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.
• Provide exceptional client service through timely updates and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and active membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense preferred.
• Strong writing skills with experience in reviewing medical records.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Experience working or schooling in a virtual environment preferred.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and maintained membership in good standing.
