Duties

• Handle plaintiff and/or insurance defense litigation.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft motions and pleadings.
• Attend pretrial conferences, motions hearings, and jury trials.
• Negotiate and mediate settlements.
• Manage case files and drive them toward settlement or trial.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.

Requirements

• License in good standing to practice law in Georgia.
• 5-10 years of experience required.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Capable of handling tasks quickly and tactfully with various levels of personnel and the public.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong client service orientation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude; self-motivated and professional.
• Detail-oriented and driven.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Georgia.
