Duties

  • Stay updated on local, state, and federal legal statutes and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys in conflict resolution and legal practices.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Represent clients at trials, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Manage the discovery process, including depositions, interrogatories, and the production of documents.
  • Negotiate favorable resolutions and settlements for clients.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, and other relevant parties.
  • Lead strategy sessions with clients to define legal goals and approaches.
  • Provide comprehensive legal representation throughout all stages of litigation.
  • Advocate for clients in court, ensuring their best interests are effectively represented.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a senior associate or trial attorney.
  • Proven experience in litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle a heavy caseload.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior attorneys.
  • Member in good standing with the state and local bar associations.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Active member of the state bar where the firm is located.
