Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled Family Law Attorney to collaborate on cases through a co-counsel arrangement. The firm provides a steady flow of clients along with full administrative and business support, including marketing, client sourcing, vetting, intake, and collections. The primary goal is to free up attorneys from non-legal tasks, allowing them to focus entirely on practicing law. Location:

Duties:

  • Co-counsel on family law cases, ensuring high-quality legal representation
  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, custody, child support, and spousal support
  • Provide compassionate, ethical, and empathetic legal care during crucial life moments
  • Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes
  • Maintain detailed and accurate case files, including documentation and legal research
  • Participate in client intake, consultations, and regular case progress meetings
  • Manage time effectively to handle a high volume of cases
  • Work with firm’s administrative team for case management and client communications

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in good standing with the state bar
  • At least 3 years of experience practicing family law, with a solid understanding of multiple types of family law cases
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large caseload
  • Experience with limited scope representation is a plus
  • Commitment to providing ethical, compassionate, and client-focused legal care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and teamwork

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar Association (required)
