Litigation Attorney

A leading law firm in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney for an upper-level associate or partner position. The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years of litigation experience, particularly with the Georgia Civil Practice Act, and must possess strong communication and legal writing skills. The role involves managing cases from inception to completion while working independently and collaboratively with other attorneys.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload in areas such as property, covenants, contracts, insurance defense, and corporate law
• Handle all stages of litigation, including discovery, motions practice, and hearings
• Provide legal advice and strategize with colleagues on case progression
• Independently manage cases to ensure timely completion
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
• Represent clients in court, negotiations, and other legal proceedings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience
• Proficiency with the Georgia Civil Practice Act
• Demonstrated ability to handle discovery, motions, and hearings
• Licensed member of the Georgia Bar
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Georgia Bar

Certifications:

• Active Georgia Bar License
