This position provides an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals on complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, collaborate with senior attorneys, and engage with clients on significant cases.

Duties:

  • Handle a range of bankruptcy and restructuring cases, with a focus on Chapter 11 proceedings.
  • Participate in all stages of litigation and restructuring, including client meetings, court appearances, and document drafting.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation in bankruptcy-related litigation.
  • Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, and briefs for various stages of bankruptcy cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to manage case strategy and negotiations.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes and trends in bankruptcy law and provide insights to the legal team.

Requirements:

  • 2–6 years of relevant legal experience, specifically in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and litigation.
  • Proficiency in bankruptcy law and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bar admission in Pennsylvania, Texas, New York, or Delaware, depending on the candidate's jurisdiction.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction (Pennsylvania preferred, but Texas, New York, or Delaware acceptable).
