Job Overview: A law firm in Baltimore, MD, seeks a skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to manage complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of litigation while maintaining high standards of client service and legal expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Providing timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Meeting deadlines and performing work duties as required.
  • Building and maintaining positive work relationships.
  • Complying with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Performing all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a litigation attorney.
  • Experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in research and problem-solving.
  • Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.
  • Persuasive communication and management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and strong project management skills.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Maryland Bar is required.
