Criminal Defense Attorney

Job Overview:

Remote attorneys will be responsible for managing all aspects of Fresno cases, including discovery, motions, negotiations, and court appearances. Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and responsibilities

• Draft legal documents related to criminal cases

• Attend pretrial hearings and provide strategic legal counsel

• Manage court appearances, trials, motions, witness interviews, and legal research

• Analyze case outcomes and leverage legal precedents

• Independently manage a caseload while collaborating with the criminal defense team

• Prepare clients for depositions and work with experts to develop case strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of Criminal Defense experience

• Experience handling complex cases at the federal, state, and local levels

• Team player with a passion for strategizing and collaborating

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required

• Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the California State Bar (in good standing)

Skills:

• Criminal law knowledge, including case analysis and legal research

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple complex cases and deadlines

• Client-focused with excellent advocacy skills

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
