A law firm seeks a skilled Consult Attorney to provide expert legal analysis and advice to clients seeking immigration relief. This remote role requires a deep understanding of immigration law, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams. The Consult Attorney will play a pivotal role in reviewing client information, developing legal strategies, and guiding consultation staff to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Duties:

  • Analyze client information collected by Intake Specialists to identify potential immigration relief options.
  • Develop clear, actionable legal strategies tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Provide clients with detailed, accurate explanations of their case types and potential legal solutions.
  • Collaborate with consultation staff to gather essential case details and ensure thorough understanding.
  • Lead and train consultation staff, fostering continuous professional growth and knowledge within the team.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth processes and excellent service.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration law and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in immigration law.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and client-friendly manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on providing accurate legal guidance.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in at least one state (preference for jurisdictions related to immigration law).

Skills:

  • Proficient in immigration law and related legal procedures.
  • Strong legal research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to support and guide consultation staff.
