Job Overview:
A prestigious international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its Antitrust, Competition, and Trade (ACT) practice in its U.S. office. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-profile antitrust litigation for market-leading clients, engaging in complex civil litigation phases. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, a background in antitrust, and experience drafting and managing significant sections of legal documents.

Location

Duties

  • Engage in antitrust litigation, including all major phases of civil litigation
  • Draft, edit, and manage substantive sections of motions and dispositive briefs
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and support antitrust case strategies
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to manage client cases and litigation matters
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to a collegial and inclusive team environment
  • Represent clients in matters involving government enforcement agencies when necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of substantive experience in antitrust litigation, including class actions
  • Extensive writing experience with proficiency in drafting motions and legal briefs
  • Previous experience as a state or federal judicial clerk is preferred
  • Familiarity with government enforcement agencies and a background in economics are advantageous
  • Excellent research, writing, and multitasking abilities across multiple cases

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in New York, California, or Washington, D.C.
