Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Provide legal counsel and strategize on cases, collaborating with senior attorneys as needed.
• Advise clients on legal conflicts and negotiate settlements on their behalf.
• Communicate effectively with clients, senior associates, shareholders, and paralegals to ensure case progress.
• Maintain organized and updated client files for easy access by team members.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverage litigation is an advantage.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to the State Bar of Texas.
