Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Prepare various pleadings, law, and motion documents.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and other settlement negotiations.
• Assist in trial preparation, including deadlines, trial binders, jury instructions, motions in limine, expert designation, depositions, exhibits, and witness lists.
• Manage case files and ensure all legal documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, informing them about case progress and developments.
• Demonstrate a solid commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
• Proven experience in taking and defending depositions, preparing pleadings, and handling discovery.
• Familiarity with trial preparation procedures is a plus.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take ownership of case files.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
