Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and corporate structuring.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various business contracts and agreements.

  • Assist with the formation, restructuring, and dissolution of business entities.
  • Offer guidance on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
  • Counsel nonprofit organizations on compliance, governance, and regulatory issues.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current with changes in business and corporate law.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and other legal proceedings.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of all transactions and legal advice provided.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).
  • Experience in transactional business law.
  • Experience in nonprofit and intellectual property law is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
