A law firm in Elmsford is seeking a Junior Litigation Attorney with a proactive work ethic, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or eviction matters, along with familiarity with in-state court proceedings.

 

Duties:

  • Demonstrate focus, organization, and goal-oriented approach in daily tasks.
  • Work independently on legal cases, providing support to senior attorneys.
  • Preferably have experience in mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or eviction matters.
  • Exhibit familiarity with in-state court proceedings and relevant legal documentation.
  • Interact with clients and vendors, displaying excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
  • Maintain strong attention to organization and detail in all aspects of legal work.

 

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing membership with the New York State Bar.
  • Should have 2-5 years of experience.
  • Preferably, experience in mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or eviction.
  • Familiarity with in-state court proceedings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to organization and detail.

 

Education:

Law degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active and in good standing membership with the New York State Bar.
