A law firm in Portland, OR, seeks an experienced Cybercrime Enforcement Attorney - Of Counsel to support its Commercial Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably with a background in civil litigation, particularly in intellectual property (IP) litigation, and a proven track record in internal, government, and IP enforcement investigations.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to cybercrime and IP enforcement.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Oregon State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, focusing on cybercrime and IP enforcement preferred.
  • Experience in civil litigation, particularly IP litigation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations about cybercrime and intellectual property.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
