A growing law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Immigration Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will manage an independent caseload and represent clients in various immigration matters. This position involves providing legal counsel, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in immigration court. The successful candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English, have at least three years of experience in immigration law, and be passionate about helping clients navigate complex immigration processes.

Duties

  • Manage an independent caseload of immigration cases.
  • Conduct client consultations to determine appropriate immigration relief options.
  • Analyze cases, develop strategies, and prepare clients for interviews, hearings, and trials.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as affidavits, briefs, motions, and appeals.
  • Prepare and submit immigration applications and packages to USCIS and EOIR.
  • Represent clients in immigration court hearings and trials.
  • Handle other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of any State Bar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong work ethic, with excellent writing, communication, organizational, and case management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Availability to work occasional Saturdays.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (must be in good standing).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Skills

  • Proficiency in immigration law and procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and case management abilities.
  • Ability to prepare clients for court hearings and interviews.
