Duties:

• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, judgments, and orders for court filings
• Handle correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case matters
• Interview and prepare witnesses for court testimony
• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of all legal documents and filings
• Represent clients in court proceedings, advocating on their behalf in various family law matters
• Manage all aspects of assigned cases from start to finish
• Conduct legal research on specific family law issues as needed
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing case materials, and mailing as necessary

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Missouri State Bar license
• Prior experience in family law is preferred
• Strong litigation and courtroom skills
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• A Missouri State Bar license required
