Job Title: Associate Attorney

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling collections and creditors' rights litigation, including a variety of legal tasks ranging from preparation of pleadings to settlement negotiations and occasional trial work. Duties:

• Prepare and draft legal pleadings and motions
• Conduct discovery processes and respond to discovery requests
• Engage in motion practice and manage litigation timelines
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Represent clients in court trials, as needed
• Provide legal counsel and support throughout the litigation process

Requirements:

• Must be eligible for licensure in North Dakota
• Proven experience or a strong interest in collections and creditors' rights litigation
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and research abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice law in North Dakota

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Knowledge of collections and creditors’ rights law
• Excellent negotiation and settlement skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, demanding workload
