A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Healthcare Finance Associate Attorney to join their Nashville, TN office. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in healthcare finance transactions, including asset-based lending (ABL), real estate, and cash flow financing. This role requires strong drafting skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude. Candidates should have a robust academic background and be an active member of the state Bar.

Duties:

  • Represent lenders and/or borrowers in healthcare finance transactions, including ABL, real estate, and cash flow financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to healthcare finance.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and prepare reports on healthcare finance transactions.
  • Manage transaction processes from inception to closing, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise clients on legal risks and strategies associated with healthcare finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful transaction outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior associates and other team members involved in healthcare finance matters.
  • Stay current with developments in healthcare finance law and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the state Bar in which employed.
  • 3-6 years of legal experience in healthcare finance transactions.
  • 2+ years of experience documenting and closing healthcare finance transactions at an AmLaw 200 law firm.
  • Strong academic background with excellent drafting skills.
  • Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in ABL, real estate, and/or cash flow transactions.
