Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Mid-level Associate Attorney to join the Corporate - Capital Markets and Public Companies practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in advising publicly traded companies on securities offerings, federal securities laws, stock exchange regulations, Sarbanes Oxley Act, Dodd-Frank Act compliance matters, and corporate governance.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to publicly traded companies on securities offerings, both debt and equity.
  • Navigate federal securities laws, stock exchange regulations, Sarbanes Oxley Act, Dodd-Frank Act, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Address corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Mid-level attorney with substantial experience in a large law firm setting.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York Bar is desired.
