Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in court, including attending hearings, trials, and mediations.

• Participate in settlement negotiations and engage in client communications.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from initial case assessment through trial or settlement.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 2 to 8 years of experience in handling automobile and premises liability cases, with a preference for defense experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
