Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a Senior Counsel with at least 5 years of experience in traditional labor law to join its Jacksonville office. The successful candidate will have significant experience in collective bargaining and must possess strong writing, analytical, and project management skills. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining.
  • Advise clients on labor law matters, including labor disputes, union negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on a range of labor-related issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including collective bargaining agreements and union contracts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in traditional labor law.
  • Significant experience with collective bargaining.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Admission to practice in Florida, active and in good standing.

Education:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in Florida, in good standing.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of traditional labor law and collective bargaining processes.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
