Job Title: Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on case progress.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates, fostering their professional development.
• Collaborate with experts to gather essential information and insights for case preparation.
• Assist in fact development, including conducting depositions and managing discovery processes.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Contribute to the development of case strategies and legal arguments to support clients’ objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools.
• Admission to practice in Maryland; additional State Bar admissions are a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Background in science, with experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Education:

• JD degree required.
• MD, MPH, PharmD, or a degree in Epidemiology is highly desirable.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in Maryland is required; additional Bar admissions in relevant states are preferred.

• Proven oral and written communication skills, with the capacity to influence and persuade.
