The ideal candidate will be a New York and New Jersey-barred attorney with 2-10 years of experience, particularly in insurance litigation and federal court cases. Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation through trial and appeal in both state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Manage discovery, including depositions, document requests, and interrogatories.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations.
• Participate in business development and networking activities.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York and New Jersey State Bars.
• 2-10 years of experience in litigation.
• Experience in insurance litigation and federal court proceedings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.

Education
