Duties:

• Deliver strategic legal advice and guidance on immigration-related matters

• Advocate for both detained and non-detained individuals in immigration court and before appellate tribunals

• Conduct in-person interviews and client intake at detention facilities

• Draft, review, and revise various immigration applications including family-based and removal defense filings

• Communicate effectively with clients, legal team members, and external organizations

• Liaise with law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and community partners regarding legal developments

• Lead client consultations to assess eligibility and develop tailored legal strategies

• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and testimony before immigration authorities

• Compose persuasive legal briefs and supporting documentation for diverse case types

• Maintain and manage an active caseload with attention to deadlines and detail

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

• 1-4 years of experience practicing immigration law

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases with minimal supervision

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Commitment to collaboration and client advocacy

• Familiarity with immigration procedures including EOIR, USCIS filings, and humanitarian petitions

• Experience with legal case management software preferred

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Arizona Bar admission required
