Duties:

  • Proactively manage family law cases from beginning to end
  • Provide superior customer service to all clients, including monthly status reports and weekly case reviews
  • Make improvement recommendations to practice managers for enhanced efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Manage performance metrics using practice quality software to track accomplishments and client satisfaction
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and mediations as necessary
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Attend hearings, trials, and depositions
  • Collaborate with colleagues and staff to strategize case approaches and solutions

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited university
  • Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience
  • Experience as first chair in family law cases
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri, with a preference for dual licensure in Missouri and Kansas
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software relevant to legal practice
