Job Overview: A law firm located in Little Rock, AR is seeking an ambitious and experienced Trial Attorney specializing in personal injury cases. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive legal team dedicated to providing high-quality service to clients while maintaining an innovative, client-first approach. The ideal candidate will manage complex personal injury cases from intake through trial, providing expert legal advice and representation.

Duties:

  • Handle personal injury cases from start to finish, including intake, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings.
  • Lead and participate in mediations, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies for each case.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed throughout their case.
  • Research, draft, and respond to legal motions.
  • Collaborate with legal support staff and other attorneys on the team to ensure optimal case management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Proven track record as a 1st chair in jury trials.
  • In-depth knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large caseload effectively.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Arkansas State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Arkansas State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in Arkansas.
  • Additional certifications related to trial practice or personal injury law are advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Excellent research, drafting, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
