Job Title: Foreclosure Attorney

Job Location: Tallahassee, FL

Job Overview:
A leading law firm, specializing in creditors' rights and financial services, is looking for an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join their team. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic legal environment, handling complex foreclosure cases, and managing litigation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure law, litigation, and real estate matters.

Duties:

  • Oversee all stages of the Non-Judicial Foreclosure process from referral to sale.
  • Handle routine and non-routine litigation related to the Replevin process.
  • Manage pre-litigation cases and assist in clearing title to real property.
  • Advise clients on case analysis and strategies.
  • Prepare and draft court pleadings and motions.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences; represent clients in court appearances.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in creditors’ rights, real estate, or mortgage servicing.
  • Knowledge of the foreclosure and replevin process is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding consumer protection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, is a plus.
  • Ability to handle a large caseload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • An active member of the Florida State Bar with necessary licensing and ongoing legal education requirements.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.

Skills:

  • Expertise in foreclosure and replevin litigation.
  • Strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills.
  • Experience in case management and legal strategy development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
