Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Associate to join its employment litigation team. Duties

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate defense strategies in employment litigation cases
  • Prepare, review, and revise pleadings, discovery requests, briefs, memos, and other legal correspondence
  • Examine and interpret employment records to support case strategy
  • Represent clients in court and before relevant administrative bodies
  • Engage in all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, conferences, trials, and appeals
  • Work with employment law experts to inform case development
  • Conduct thorough legal and employment law research
  • Draft, file, and argue motions as necessary
  • Maintain consistent client communication and provide case updates
  • Coordinate effectively with internal team members to ensure case objectives are met

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment litigation
  • Active license to practice law in New Jersey

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar
