Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

A reputable law firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join their Insurance Coverage practice group in the Philadelphia, PA office. Location:
Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

• Review files and conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action

• Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs

• Maintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours

• Represent clients regularly in court, arbitrations, and depositions

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Manage expert witness retention and collaboration

• Prepare for and attend trials

• Occasional travel may be required

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage preferred (but not required)

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school

• Admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania (additional states a plus)

• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong research, written, and oral communication skills

• Excellent work ethic, ability to manage workload independently, and work well in a team

• Prompt responsiveness to emails and phone inquiries

• Excellent client management and communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice in Pennsylvania (other state admissions a plus)
