Job Overview: A prestigious law firm in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a motivated and reliable Bankruptcy Attorney to join their team. This position offers an opportunity to work in either the Birmingham or Tuscaloosa office, with a focus on managing the Tuscaloosa location and representing clients in bankruptcy cases. The role involves client consultations, court appearances, and handling both pre- and post-filing case tasks. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional service and supporting the firm's mission to provide high-quality legal assistance.
Duties:
Manage the Tuscaloosa office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Represent clients in bankruptcy cases, including consultations and court appearances.
Handle filing procedures and manage post-filing work related to bankruptcy cases.
Coordinate with the Birmingham office as needed.
Ensure clear and timely communication with clients regarding case updates and legal advice.
Maintain thorough and organized case files.
Collaborate with team members to support firm-wide operations.
Requirements:
Must be licensed to practice law in Alabama.
Proven experience in bankruptcy law is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

High level of professionalism, including strong client service skills.
Ability to travel to the Tuscaloosa office at least twice a week.
